For these ten enormous arches, each 23 ft. high X 16 ft. wide, Bynum made photographic enlargements of painting details. They are seen by viewers walking, driving, and from trains that run along the banks of the Hudson River between Grand Central Station in Manhattan and communities in the Hudson River Valley.
